I recently was a vendor at a Mom's Night Out for a group of mom's at an elementary school!  I was trying to think of some ideas of things that they may be interested in.  I thought of THANK YOU cards since it is the end of the year, and moms are always trying to come up with good ideas for teacher gifts.  I pulled out the Close to my Heart Artiste Cricut cartridge and cut out what I think is an awesome card.  These were a big hit!

Close to my Heart card using the new paper pack Claire!

Spring/Summer New Catalog Open House

It was so nice to see everyone! 
 

I hosted a new Close to my Heart catalog open house this past Saturday. There are 8 new paper packs in the catalog and this is just one of them.  We made a card using the new paper pack called Claire.  There are so many things you can do with just this paper alone.  I cut the banner and the butterflies using the Close to my Heart Cricut cartridge Art Philosophy.  We used the new blue & white Chevron ribbon for an accent.  The stamp saying came from the A Tree stamp set.  I think this is perfect for Spring. 

I had many of the paper packs, stamp sets, embellishments, and other 3D goodies cut from both of the Cricut cartridges.
 

 

As a THANK YOU to everyone who came, I made these adorable French Fry boxes.  I cut these from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 9 inches.  The embllieshment was also a die cut from the cartridge.  I stamped the sentiments and bird using a Stamp of the Month called "Life is Tweet".

Year Round Cheer Card Kit!

I knew that when I saw the December Stamp of the Month, this was one that I wanted to do a card kit with.  I think it is so cool.  I can think of many things you could do with this set.

*I've put together a card kit using the Close to my Heart Stamp of the Month stamp set -- Year Round Cheer.  I'm very excited to share it with you.  I've used some current paper packs as well as some great retired ones to put it all together, as well as some coordinating embellishments.  If you're interested in this card kit, I'm hosting a gathering on January 26th at 1:00 pm.  I'd love to have you join me!  If you'd like to make the card kit but, can't make that date, I am happy to mail you a kit with directions.  The cost for the workshop is $15.00.  Contact me if you'd like more information.  I hope you like the cards.

Happy 2013!!

I hope you all had a great Holiday season!  I don't know about you but I am ready to get organized and get some craft projects and scrapbooking done this year.  One of my goals for this year, is to post messages to you more often.  I hope you enjoy hearing from me.  Another goal was to get my work space organized.  I used a gift card that I got for Christmas and purchased some storage cubes.  My husband, Brad, is so awesome - he bought and put up shelving for me.  I have room to add another shelf and more storage if I need it.  It is so nice having some work space!  I'm looking forward to lots of craft time this year!  I'm not finished yet, but here's a peek at what I've done for far:
