Year Round Cheer Card Kit!

I knew that when I saw the December Stamp of the Month, this was one that I wanted to do a card kit with.  I think it is so cool.  I can think of many things you could do with this set.

*I've put together a card kit using the Close to my Heart Stamp of the Month stamp set -- Year Round Cheer.  I'm very excited to share it with you.  I've used some current paper packs as well as some great retired ones to put it all together, as well as some coordinating embellishments.  If you're interested in this card kit, I'm hosting a gathering on January 26th at 1:00 pm.  I'd love to have you join me!  If you'd like to make the card kit but, can't make that date, I am happy to mail you a kit with directions.  The cost for the workshop is $15.00.  Contact me if you'd like more information.  I hope you like the cards.

Happy 2013!!

I hope you all had a great Holiday season!  I don't know about you but I am ready to get organized and get some craft projects and scrapbooking done this year.  One of my goals for this year, is to post messages to you more often.  I hope you enjoy hearing from me.  Another goal was to get my work space organized.  I used a gift card that I got for Christmas and purchased some storage cubes.  My husband, Brad, is so awesome - he bought and put up shelving for me.  I have room to add another shelf and more storage if I need it.  It is so nice having some work space!  I'm looking forward to lots of craft time this year!  I'm not finished yet, but here's a peek at what I've done for far:

Christmas Card Workshop

Are you starting to think about the upcoming Holidays?  I have started making some lists, and gathering some ideas, including Christmas cards.  This year, I will be hosting a Christmas Card Workshop, at my home, on November 17th.  We will be using the Pear and Partridge Card-Making workshop to make 15 cards (3 styles, 5 of each style).  If you'd like to sign up for my class, contact me by November 3rd.  I will be placing an order and will need to know the amount of supplies I will need to prepare.  If you can't make it but, would still like to make the cards, I can mail you a stamped, pre-cut set with the directions.  The cost is $15.00 for the 1st set, and $10.00 for any sets after that. 

I'll be posting pictures of the ladies making the cards.

October is Pinterest/Craft month!

I'm so excited for October!  Fall is my favorite time of year.  I happened to make a comment the other day on my facebook page that I needed to take a month off to complete all of the Pinterest and craft projects that I'd like to do.  My aunt replied that she is declaring October -- Pinterest project month.  I'm accepting that challenge and am going to try to get caught up on some projects that have been on the back burner and get started on my Christmas cards.  I started a little early by getting a 2-page scrapbook layout done today.  I think that it turned out really cute.  It is of my daughter Emily when she was about 15 months old (she's now a senior in high school). *I always say that it's never to late to start.
